Body Language is an improvisational solo performance installation that focuses on the body in transformation. The body is seen as a developing algorithm that takes the place of the initiator. The performer demonstrates this practice by overloading cognitive awareness, leaving the body to find its own path. The interest is to give the body a platform and see how it can take charge, leaving the performer to listen to how it expresses itself. The body behaves in different ways based on its surroundings. The goal is to discover the diverse behavioural patterns that govern the body and explore the journey that it can take us on.

Body Language has been performed in unconventional spaces such as museums, foyers, private homes, elevators, gardens, out in nature, night clubs and even a cave. Body Langauge was developed in collaboration with the performer Mayke van Kruchten and has since been performed as well by Charlotte Petersen and Amy Josh.
